Data for indicator 1.5.4 are not available according to the relevant UN methodology. Therefore, a proxy indicator was designed, which can be used as a substitute for reporting indicator 1.5.4.
Compared to the original indicator, the proxy indicator "The number of municipalities that adopted and implement adaptation strategies, or plans, and number of affected residents" tracks the number of municipalities that have adopted adaptation documents aimed in general at the adaptation of settlements to climate change, which may also include measures related to reducing the risks of natural disasters and technical accidents. It also monitors the number of affected residents. |
