Data for indicator 8.8.1 are not available according to the relevant UN methodology. Therefore, a proxy indicator was designed, which can be used as a substitute for reporting indicator 8.8.1.
We present the available data, i.e. absolute numbers of fatal and non-fatal occupational injuries for men and women for a given year. The relative indicators do not refer to the total number of the population of the Czech Republic, but to the number of those insured against sickness. We then present the mentioned shares in the form as published by the VÚBP in its materials, i.e. frequency per 100, or 10,000 insured (since 2009). Data for injuries less serious than fatal correspond to non-fatal occupational injuries. Migrant status is not monitored. |
